Beleon Tours has constantly participated in Philoxenia for more than 5 years, presenting to the visitors of the exhibition its achievements for the past year and company’s plans for the coming one.
Among the main achievements of Beleon Tours in 2014 were the strengthened excursion basis in Attica region and Peloponnese peninsula as well as company`s expansion to Mykonos Island. Apart from this a substantial growth of popularity towards company’s MICE and Wedding services was registered, while increase in sales in weddings organization reached 300%.
Concerning Beleon Tours’ further development strategy, in 2015 our company will focus on offers in the sphere of luxury holidays, non-standard tailor-made tours and organization of MICE, Wedding and festive events in Greece. The further development of transport services is also among the company’s priorities for the next year.
It is worth mentioning that this year Philoxenia celebrates its 30th anniversary. The organizers of the event report that Philoxenia 2014 holds more than 230 exhibitors mainly from Balkans. However, the exhibition will be also visited by over 100 representatives of the leading travel agencies and tour operators from 32 countries worldwide.
The program of Philoxenia 2014 includes a rich schedule of educational sessions as well as parallel events, the most prestigious of which is 'Destination Thessaloniki' aiming to highlight the infrastructure and prospects of the city of Thessaloniki as a destination for international congresses, exhibitions and events of a scientific and cultural nature. Being highly valued by Greek Government a number of those parallel events will be visited by the Minister of Tourism, Ms. Olga Kefaloyianni.
On November 13-14 pavilions of Philoxenia will be open only for professionals while during the weekend on November 15-16 the exhibition can be visited also by general public. We will be glad to meet both professionals of travel industry and general public at our stand 34, pavilion 15.
